Gifts to this fund are used to support a variety of activities, including: undergraduate and graduate student scholarships and research projects and  other student-related activities; faculty research; visiting scholars; scholarly programming including conferences and lectures; and supplementary administrative costs related to the efficient running of the Borns Jewish Studies Program office.

Gifts to this fund help support the Olamot Center’s mission to enrich research and teaching at IU by providing faculty and students with the opportunity for exchange and collaboration with outstanding Israeli artists and scholars. The Olamot Center Fund supports programs, courses, research, translated scholarly books, and visiting scholars from Israel.

Gifts to this fund help support the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism’s mission to offer courses and pursue high-level scholarly research into present-day manifestations of anti-Jewish animosity, aiming to elucidate the social, cultural, religious, and political forces that nurture anti-Jewish hostility.

Gifts to this fund are used to support collaboration and programming around topics of Blackness, Jewishness, Race, and their relationships; to encourage undergraduates in Jewish Studies and African American and African Diaspora Studies to explore each other's areas of focus through coursework, collaborative research, artistic engagement, and community activity; and to encourage and support faculty in developing curriculum and scholarly endeavors that cross both fields.
