Graduate students in the Borns Jewish Studies Program can expect an intellectually stimulating and collaborative environment grounded in a deeply interdisciplinary curriculum. Our M.A. students and doctoral minors form a tight-knit community of junior scholars positioned as the next generation of experts in the field of Jewish Studies. Inside of the classroom, you will find students drawn from diverse fields such as Religious Studies, Musicology, History, and Anthropology. Our small size not only allows for unique interactions across fields, but it also provides multiple opportunities for scholarly exchange otherwise rare on Bloomington’s campus.
