The Robert A. and Sandra S. Borns Jewish Studies Program (Borns JSP) is considered one of the premier Jewish Studies programs in the world. The program is a lively center of learning and a supportive community where faculty and staff inspire students to discover and explore their passions.

We offer a Jewish Studies major, certificate, minor, and a Hebrew minor. All students are welcome into any of these degree programs. No background or prior knowledge is necessary.

Our interdisciplinary degree programs are all easily combined with other majors, minors, and certificates and prepare students for a variety of rewarding career paths. A degree in Jewish Studies is also excellent preparation for graduate or professional school, such as law, medicine, or business.
